Drop Terms of Service

Effective date: 3 September 2026

By installing or using Drop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

The service

Drop is an independent browser extension that helps you store and synchronize notes, links, and files through a cloud account you control. Drop is not a cloud-storage provider and does not operate a content server.

Your content

You are responsible for your cloud account, devices, content, and compliance with applicable law. Your content remains yours. You authorize the extension to process it only as necessary to provide the features you request. Google Drive, OneDrive, and browser use remains subject to their own terms and policies.

Availability and liability

Provider API changes, quotas, browser updates, network failures, and store decisions may affect operation. Keep independent backups of important content. To the extent permitted by law, Drop is provided “as is” and “as available” without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free synchronization.

Independence

Drop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Google, or any browser vendor. Third-party marks belong to their owners.
